Fast Forward to 2020

The team had plans to restage Beam at The Artground in 2020 but had to cancel the restaging due to COVID-19. To continue to reach out and stay connected to local audiences while waiting for the safe reopening of performance venues, the team decided to apply for the National Arts Council's Digital Presentation Grant for the Arts to create a digital version of Beam (aka. BEAM v.2.0). This digital version not only allows audience to enjoy Beam in the safety and comfort of their homes but also enables the team to reach out to international audiences via social media platforms, hopefully to generate awareness and interests for original productions created by Singaporean artists.

The team worked closely with video production house, Foxing Films and Photography to create an immersive experience for the viewers. We hope you enjoy BEAM v.2.0 as much as we do and we look forward to having you with us in live at The Artground soon.
